About

Alaric Arokiasamy
Playing sports competitively growing up, Alaric had always struggled with lower leg, foot and ankle issues. After numerous consultations and seeing various specialists, the treatment provided by a podiatrist brought the most relief. This experience inspired Alaric to take up the profession and have the same sort of impact and patient satisfaction in his practice.
Alaric is a highly skilled podiatrist specialising in Podiatric Sports Medicine with experience treating elite athletes. He obtained his undergraduate qualification from Cardiff and further pursued his postgraduate studies in Podiatric Sports and Exercise Medicine from Queen Mary University of London.
His postgraduate studies in the field involved sessions with the Chelsea FC physiotherapy team. It also involved him working alongside the best sports medicine physicians, physiotherapists, podiatric surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the UK. The time spent working at the Canterbury Cricket ground has also given him experience working with athletes at a very high level.
Born and raised in Malaysia, Alaric has always been exposed to a diverse range of customs, cultures and even languages. He fluently speaks English, Malay and understands Tamil well. He is passionate at helping people and enjoys doing so the best way he knows how, through podiatry.
Alaric has experience in the public and private sector from his time in the UK. He treats patients from all walks of life, from younger children to the older population. His skills in gait and running analysis were developed from working in specialist shoe stores throughout his time as a podiatry student. Alaric also enjoys treating general podiatric issues with a special interest in nail surgery.
In his free time, Alaric enjoys going to the gym, playing football and futsal. He is looking forward to travelling and exploring more of Western Australia.
You can find Alaric at the clinics listed below as well as at the University of Western Australia's Podiatry Clinic, where he clinically supervises students.
Alaric is eager to get your bounce back in every step!
